The objective of this course is to impart the reasoning and importance of the home inspection and the real estate licensee’s responsibility to the client. The course will review the basic requirements of the property inspection as well as the responsibilities of a licensed inspector to the client. Some of the topics covered are the fundamentals of the exterior and interior components of real property; the inspection of heating and cooling systems; and warning signs of potential problem areas, including mold and other hidden dangers.
